Where is it?

Mermaid Gaze is in a prime spot in Porth on the North Cornish coast, just a quick three minute walk to the sandy stretch of Porth Beach. Spend your time building sandcastles with the kids, surfing, or just relaxing in the sun. Paddle your toes, go for a dip, or take the footbridge to Porth Island, a historic landmark with a rich history and stunning views in every direction! Keep an eye out for the blowhole, where the sea shoots up impressive rainbow sprays of water!

Just a few meters from the apartment, you’ll find your local, The Mermaid Inn, serving up great food, local cider and a lively atmosphere. If you fancy exploring a little further, take the coast path in either direction. After a relatively short walk (with incredible views!) you’ll find yourself in either Newquay (to the West of the apartment) or Watergate Bay (to the East). Newquay offers a vibrant town centre full of shops, bars, and restaurants as well as numerous stunning beaches. Watergate Bay has a more relaxed atmosphere, with a large stretch of sand as well as Wax, a great café just a short stroll from the sand. Want to venture even further and leave the car behind? The Atlantic Coaster bus stops just fifty meters away, offering scenic rides along the coast from Newquay to Padstow.
