2021 Year of the English Coast is the start of a three-year campaign aiming to celebrate England’s diverse coastline. It also provides support for coastal communities. The entire English coastline will become accessible to visitors for the first time in 2021. This is when the brand new ‘England Coast Path National Trail’ will launch. It will be the world’s longest signposted walking route at 2,800 miles long.
Nearly 700km of the English Coastline is right here in Cornwall waiting to be explored. Sandy beaches, quaint fishing hamlets, tiny pebbled coves, stunning moors and rural landscapes – it’s no wonder the county has been such a popular filming location for numerous movies, TV programmes and inspiration for classic novels.
Stay right on the North Cornish coast path in one of our self-catering sea-view apartments in Newquay. You will be moments away from the spectacular coastline. With properties overlooking several of Newquay’s finest beaches including Lusty Glaze, Rocklands and Zinc Apartments. You can enjoy everything the coast path has to offer, morning, noon and night.
If you’re looking to stay further up the North Coast then check out our dog-friendly apartments in Mawgan Porth. Or our large family lodges and cottages near Padstow. Both locations enable easy access onto the coast path and local beaches. Plus, Harlyn Bay has an abundance of rock pools and is backed by sand-dunes.
